Dan River had won seven straight games and Jameer Reynolds did his part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Dan River Wildcats walked away with an 84-72 win over the Altavista Colonels thanks in part to Reynolds, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 21 rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 20 points.

Another player making a difference was Zy'Ere Smith, who posted 11 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Dan River's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Altavista, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Dan River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-55 loss against Nelson County on the 7th. As for Altavista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 83-62 defeat against Gretna on the 7th.
