There's no place like home for the Arcata Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Red Bluff 61-40. That's another feather in the cap for Arcata, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Red Bluff's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Hohenberger, who scored 12 points.
Arcata now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Red Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Arcata will take on Rio Americano at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Bluff, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against McKinleyville at 5:00 p.m. McKinleyville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Red Bluff in California (McKinleyville is ranked 225th, while Red Bluff is ranked 668th).
