Lincoln Southwest came tearing into Thursday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lincoln High Links 19-1. The Silver Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by six runs or more this season.
Brooklyn Bruggeman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she also racked up no strikeouts, the fewestshe's had in her last three contests. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with a home run, five RBI, and five RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits.
