Softball Recap: Brindlee Mountain Lions vs. Woodville Panthers

Brindlee Mountain had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 23-3 margin over the Woodville Panthers. Brindlee Mountain's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Emma Edmonds made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Edmonds was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and a triple.

In other batting news, Kaylie Mashburn was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three stolen bases, and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Autumn Abernathy, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
