Baseball Recap: Dougherty Valley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Dougherty Valley had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northgate Broncos a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Broncos back in March, they had to take a 10-0 loss.

Not much got past Ahdil Khan, who gave up just seven hits to keep Northgate off the board. Khan has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Ricardo Feliciano was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Aiden Marriott, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
