Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Takes a Loss

Southwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Jessamine Colts. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Colts when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Jessamine, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Southwestern will challenge Boyle County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Jessamine has already played their next match (against Pulaski County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
