Basketball Recap: Waverly Takes a Loss

Waverly suffered their biggest defeat since January 27th on Friday. They were beaten by the Mission Valley Vikings 76-47. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Waverly's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16-3. As for Mission Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Waverly nor Mission Valley have any future games scheduled.
