Basketball Recap: Christopher Has No Trouble Against Chico

It was a proper cat-fight when Christopher faced off against Chico on Saturday. The Cougars took down the Panthers 72-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Chico's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ray Coleman, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Vincent Boatwright, who had five points and 11 boards.

Christopher now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chico, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Christopher has already played their next matchup, a 55-53 defeat against Pacific Grove on the 12th. As for Chico, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-46 win against Pleasant Grove on the 9th.
