Basketball Recap: LEE Volunteers vs. Brandeis Broncos
LEE lost against Brandeis back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The LEE Volunteers fell 61-52 to the Brandeis Broncos. While the Volunteers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Broncos 23-19 in the first quarter.

LEE's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lilah Yanover, who posted 20 points and three steals, and Rosanelly Pastrano, who had 20 points. Pastrano has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 26 times she's played.
Brandeis had a senior duo take command as Abigail Burdette went 8 for 16 on her way to 21 points and seven boards and Mia Ramos earned 20 points and six rebounds. LEE's loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Brandeis, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-16.
LEE will venture away from home to face off against SA Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LEE is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for Brandeis, they will host Churchill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brandeis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
