Berkeley Springs kept a clean sheet against Moorefield on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Yellow Jackets. It was an even better day for Abigail Close as she scored four goals for her team.

Berkeley Springs has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five matches. As for Moorefield, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Berkeley Springs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Pocahontas County on the 25th. Moorefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
