Freedom hasn't lost a match since August 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Waupaca Comets a 2-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Freedom's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Waupaca are ranked 237th).

Cal Calhoon was the driving force of Freedom's attack as he scored both of Freedom's goals, bringing his season total up to 30 goals.

Freedom's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1-5. As for Waupaca, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-2 record this season.

Freedom wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against St. Mary Catholic on the 16th. As for Waupaca, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Hortonville on the 16th.
