Basketball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Prescott

Prescott extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Uriah Tenette. The Prescott Badgers took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 74-33 victory over the Lee Williams Volunteers thanks in part to Tenette, who went 11 for 18 on his way to 28 points. The game was his 47th in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Diener, who posted eight points and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Several Volunteers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hudson Lander, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was James Coffman, who scored nine points.

Prescott pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 36% in those games and 19.3% outside of them. As for Lee Williams, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Prescott will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lee Williams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
