After a string of three wins, Washington's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the St. Francis Borgia Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 13th.

Mya Buhr paced Washington's offense, picking up seven kills. Buhr got some help from Alyson Paule and her 12 assists.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for St. Francis Borgia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-2 record this season.

Washington will face off against Linn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Francis Borgia, they will head out on the road to challenge Eureka at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
