While White Oak didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Redwater Dragons on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Roughnecks in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Nico Soto looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jordy Robertson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Levi Sipes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

White Oak's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Redwater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Oak will face off against Hooks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Redwater, they will take on Paris at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
