Softball Game Preview: Holy Child Gryphons vs. Frederick Gunn Highlanders

The Holy Child Gryphons will take on the Frederick Gunn Highlanders at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Holy Child couldn't beat St. Luke's on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the seventh inning. The Gryphons came up short against the Storm, falling 13-7. The loss continues a trend for the Gryphons in their meetings with the Storm: they've now lost four in a row.

Reagan Adiletta was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Frederick Gunn had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 22-0 to St. Luke's on Monday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Holy Child fell to 2-1. As for Frederick Gunn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
