Morrilton has gone a perfect 4-0 against Russellville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Morrilton Devil Dogs will head out on the road to challenge the Russellville Cyclones at 4:30 p.m. Russellville took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Morrilton, who comes in off a win.

Morrilton gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past Bauxite 9-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Devil Dogs.

Meanwhile, Russellville didn't have quite enough to beat Mountain Home on Friday and fell 4-3. The loss continues a trend for the Cyclones in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Russellville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Morrilton, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-5-1.

Everything went Morrilton's way against Russellville when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Morrilton made off with a 15-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morrilton since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
