Westbury skates past Academy Charter with ease

On Friday, Westbury humbled Academy Charter with a 66-39 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Westbury.
When it comes to explaining why Academy Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emmanuel Derosier. Despite the final result, he scored nine points along with two blocks. Jordyn Maxwell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Westbury's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Academy Charter, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Westbury will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Academy Charter, they will head out on the road to take on Wyandanch at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
