Soccer Game Preview: Coosa vs. Thomasville

The Coosa Eagles will head out to challenge the Thomasville Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Coosa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Gordon Central a 3-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for Coosa as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Dayton Vicente and Christian Aparicio scored all three of Coosa's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Thomasville made sure to put some goals up on the board against Deerfield-Windsor two weeks ago. They blew past the Knights 4-0. The result was nothing new for Thomasville, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Thomasville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Coosa, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
