Soccer Game Preview: Divine Savior Academy vs. Cushman

The Divine Savior Academy Sharks will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Cushman Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Divine Savior Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Cushman will be coming in after a loss.

Divine Savior Academy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat St. Brendan by a goal, winning 2-1. Divine Savior Academy haven't had any issues with St. Brendan recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ian Jones and Samuel Dominguez scored both of Divine Savior Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Cushman unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Mater Brickell Academy on Thursday, falling 8-0.

Divine Savior Academy took their victory against Cushman in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Sharks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
