Middleton is 10-0 against Vallivue since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Middleton Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Vallivue Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Middleton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.

Middleton is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Owyhee just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 50-38 to the Storm. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Miley Steele, who posted nine points and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Elsie Wyatt, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Vallivue ended up a good deal behind Columbia on Tuesday and lost 53-39. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vallivue's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Middleton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Middleton against Vallivue in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, as the team secured a 54-16 victory. Does Middleton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vallivue turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
