Chagrin Falls had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 11-15 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Aurora Greenmen. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 6-2 victory the Greenmen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

As for Aurora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

For Aurora's part, Carson Smith and Aydan Carlson did some serious damage despite the final result: Smith went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Carlson got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ryan Dwyer, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chagrin Falls will take on Manchester in a tournament on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Aurora, they will be taking part in a tournament against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greenmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Streaks have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
