Volleyball Recap: Canyon Springs Comes Up Short

Canyon Springs lost against Pinecrest Academy Cadence back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pioneers came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-21.

Ashari Spann paced Canyon Springs' offense, picking up four kills. Spann got some help from Valerie Medeles and her three assists. Keira Lofton controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Canyon Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Canyon Springs will host Cheyenne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they will venture away from home to challenge Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
