Basketball Recap: Eufaula's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Ashford last Thursday, Eufaula came back down to earth. The Eufaula Tigers fell to the Houston Academy Raiders 63-57. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

The defeat snapped Eufaula's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record. As for Houston Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eufaula will face off against Headland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Eufaula's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Houston Academy, they will take on Providence Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
