Searcy hasn't had much luck against Valley View recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Meanwhile, Valley View faced Brookland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Valley View took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookland. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Valley View was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14.
