West Plains wins going away against Monahans

Recap: West Plains Wolves vs. Monahans Loboes

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the West Plains Wolves had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Loboes as they made off with a 42-21 win. West Plains is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 12 straight.

West Plains was led to victory by REID MACON and JORDI HERNANDEZ. MACON threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 82.1% of his passes, while HERNANDEZ rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown. HERNANDEZ hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games. Another player making a difference was SLADE RUSSELL, who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

West Plains' win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Monahans, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 12-1.

West Plains will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Glen Rose at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Glen Rose's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. Monahans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
