Basketball Game Preview: Roswell Coyotes vs. Clovis Wildcats

The Roswell Coyotes will take on the Clovis Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clovis took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Roswell, who comes in off a win.

Roswell is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Carlsbad, who was ranked 18th at the time (Roswell was ranked sixth). Roswell skirted past Carlsbad 47-44. The 47-point effort marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Clovis came up short against Hobbs on Friday and fell 71-59. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 12 points.

Clovis has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Roswell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
