Baseball Game Preview: Buckeye Central Bucks vs. Wynford Royals

Buckeye Central hasn't had much luck against Wynford recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bucks will host the Royals at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Monday just wasn't the day for Buckeye Central's offense. They came up short against Upper Sandusky on Monday, falling 14-0. The Bucks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Colonel Crawford hit Wynford with a six-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Royals fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-7.

Landon Miller was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. Another player making a difference was Collin Hulsmeyer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
