Football Recap: Clifton Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Clifton's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wayne Hills Patriots a 21-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Clifton pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Wayne Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
