Soccer Recap: Page Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last contest, Page made sure to put some goals up on the board against Apache Junction on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Prospectors. Page have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Apache Junction, too.

Page's victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Apache Junction, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-2 record this season.

Page will head out to challenge Bourgade Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Page will be up against Bourgade Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.4 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Apache Junction, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Apache Junction their first taste of in-conference action this season.
