Denver East won the last time they faced Rangeview and things went their way on Monday too. The Angels walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Raiders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Angels.

Denver East walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 21-25, 26-24.

James Pool paced Denver East's offense, picking up 12 kills. Pool got some help from Anthony Shippley and his 44 assists. Pool was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Denver East's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Rangeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Denver East has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Vista PEAK Prep on the 23rd. As for Rangeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Regis Groff on the 23rd.
