Baseball Recap: Collins Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Collins's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ballard Bruins on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Collins saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter James, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Collins has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Ballard, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ballard, they will challenge DeSales at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
