Softball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Dover was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders, falling 11-1.

Dover has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. Lancaster Catholic's win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Dover will be playing at home against Kennard-Dale at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Kennard-Dale will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Dover surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will square off against Pequea Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
