Wooster has gone 7-0-1 against McQueen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Colts will head out on the road to square off against the Lancers at 12:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wooster has eight straight victories, McQueen has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While Wooster's win against Galena wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colts had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 1-0 on Wednesday. Given Wooster's advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Galena are ranked 63rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wooster's one-goal win came courtesy of Landon Holman, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, McQueen's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Hug by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that McQueen have lost by just one goal.

Wooster's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for McQueen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Wooster beat McQueen 3-1 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
