Softball Game Preview: Clearview Pioneers vs. Kingsway Dragons

Clearview is 0-10 against Kingsway since April of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Pioneers will look to defend their home field against the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Clearview 3.9, Kingsway 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Saturday, Clearview earned a 6-3 win over Absegami.

Meanwhile, Kingsway strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over Hightstown. Kingsway's win was all the more impressive since the Rams were averaging only 3.8 runs allowed on the season.

Kingsway's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clearview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
