Jayden Jackson Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Friday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Jayden Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 17.9 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in December of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Jackson is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Little River Academy on Friday. Jackson rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry the last time he and the Bumblebees duked it out back in November of 2023.

Tim Grice Goes Supernova in C.H. Yoe Victory

Thanks in part to Tim Grice, C.H. Yoe said goodbye to their five-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Grice on Friday as he picked up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.

C.H. Yoe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Grice and C.H. Yoe will take on Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Erik Sheppard Delivers Electric Performance Vs Little River Academy

While Erik Sheppard delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Rockdale. Despite the defeat, Sheppard was still balling out as he picked up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Rockdale's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. Sheppard will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on McGregor on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Brody Allen Leads Little River Academy over Rockdale

Little River Academy was led to victory by Brody Allen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allen rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.

Little River Academy moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Allen and Little River Academy will welcome Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Radyn Hamilton Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

On Friday, Rockdale had to settle for second even though Radyn Hamilton put up the best numbers he has all season. Hamilton rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made seven total tackles.

For the season, Hamilton has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 29 rushing yards per game.
