Soccer Recap: Grand River Prep Comes Up Short

Grand River Prep managed to slip by Potter's House Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Grand River Prep came up short against Potter's House Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Grand River Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Potter's House Christian is ranked 79th).

This is the second loss in a row for Grand River Prep and nudges their season record down to 1-3-2. As for Potter's House Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand River Prep will head out to take on West Michigan Aviation Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Potter's House Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Tri-Unity Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
