Basketball Recap: Edgewood Academy Takes a Loss

Edgewood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Banks Academy Jets.

Edgewood Academy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Banks Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Edgewood Academy Wildcats take on the Southern Academy Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Banks Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Bessemer Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bessemer Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Banks Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
