Soccer Game Preview: Woodlake vs. Corcoran

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Woodlake challenge the Corcoran at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Woodlake will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Woodlake will bounce into Monday's game after beating Farmersville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Woodlake walked away with a 3-1 win over Farmersville on Friday. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly two goals.

Fernando Bucio and Roman Rosales scored all three of Woodlake's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, neither Corcoran nor Strathmore could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

With that draw, Corcoran's record moves to 6-8-5. As for Woodlake, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6-3.
