For the first time this season, Kennedy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Hinkley Thunder at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kennedy is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Highlands Ranch two weeks ago (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Commanders took a blow against the Falcons, falling 34-6. The Commanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.
