Lincoln's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Leeds Greenwave 5-4. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 16, 2021, but that streak is no more.

The team relied heavily on Aubrey Machen, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Paisley LaClair, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Leeds, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9-1.

Looking ahead, Lincoln is taking a road trip to face off against Pell City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leeds has already played their next matchup (against Vestavia Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
