Baseball Recap: Donegal's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Donegal won the last time they faced Eastern Lebanon County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Raiders.

Sawyer Floyd was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun DiBello, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Donegal's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6. As for Eastern Lebanon County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 7-6.

Looking ahead, Donegal will venture away from home to square off against Octorara Area at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they will take on Cocalico at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
