Volleyball Recap: Bakersfield Christian Comes Up Short

Bakersfield Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Immanuel. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bakersfield Christian of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Bakersfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Immanuel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Bakersfield Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 15th. As for Immanuel, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Madera South on the 15th.
