Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Zion Eagles vs. Bowdon Red Devils

The Mt. Zion Eagles just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Bowdon Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mt. Zion knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Bowdon likes a good challenge.

Mt. Zion is returning to their home court after beating Manchester on theirs, despite the fact Manchester has dominated at home this season. Mt. Zion narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Manchester 64-61.

Meanwhile, Bowdon ended up a good deal behind Trion on Wednesday and lost 60-43. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mt. Zion is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Bowdon, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-11.
