Basketball Recap: GVCS Broadfording Find Success

GVCS Broadfording's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 65-60 W over the Allegany Campers. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Campers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

GVCS Broadfording had a senior duo take command as Mateusz Zgrajek dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds and Fernando Garcia shot 55% from the field to rack up 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zgrajek has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Rosenfeld, who posted seven points and four steals.

The victory got GVCS Broadfording back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, GVCS Broadfording won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Highland View Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Allegany, they will face off against Clear Spring on Monday.
