Baseball Recap: Myrtle Point Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Myrtle Point's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Toledo Boomers as they made off with a 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Myrtle Point let Chase Hawley and Logan Knapp run wild. Hawley scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Knapp scored a run while going 1-for-4. Knapp also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lane Backman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
