Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Stratford Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

While Assumption was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-6, 25-22.

Stratford was led to victory by Laney Pankratz and Carly Pankratz. Laney had four digs and two aces, while Carly had eight digs. That's the most aces Laney has posted since back in August.
