Scales Mound is 9-1 against Stockton since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Scales Mound Hornets will face off against the Stockton Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Scales Mound came up short against Dakota and fell 57-47. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Indians are ranked 119th).

Meanwhile, Stockton had to suffer through a 79-21 loss at the hands of East Dubuque. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Scales Mound now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Stockton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Everything went Scales Mound's way against Stockton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Scales Mound made off with a 53-31 victory. Will Scales Mound repeat their success, or does Stockton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
