For the second straight game, University will face off against Belton. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. University is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, University didn't have quite enough to beat Belton and fell 5-4. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

D'Angelo Alvarado made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Armando Cervantez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Belton, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.
