Soccer Recap: Milledgeville Athletic Club Finishes Even with Scholars Guild Academy

For the first time this season, Milledgeville Athletic Club was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milledgeville Athletic Club won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Monsignor Donovan Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Skipstone Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th. Scholars Guild Academy will be up against Skipstone Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.9 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
