Miyamura is 9-1 against Kirtland Central since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Patriots will take on the Broncos at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Miyamura is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Aztec on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Kirtland Central didn't have quite enough to beat Gallup on Thursday and fell 10-9.

Easton Myhers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Hurtado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Kirtland Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Miyamura, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Miyamura took their victory against Kirtland Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
